Coronavirus - Prayers Assured

As part of the international efforts to combat Coronavirus and protect public health, following instructions from Her Majesty’s Government and the Archbishops of Canterbury and York, public worship is now suspended and all church buildings in the Church of England are now closed.

Our worship of God and our care for each other continue but, for the moment, this cannot be done in this building.

At this time of great challenge and uncertainty we take heart in remembering the sure and certain promises of God given in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ - asking that he might grant us hope, love, faith, trust and consolation.

A Book of Prayers has been prepared to help you with worship and prayer at home, we hope that it might be useful.
