There are currently no services in the building of St James' Church in Staveley. There are structural issues with our spire and lychgate which make it unsafe for us to meet in the church building. Over July and August 2025, we are meeting at St Mary's in Windermere and joining their 11am services on Sundays. From September 2025, our Sunday services will be at Staveley CE Primary School.

Come and join our monthly worship for children under 5 and their adults.

We sing songs, say simple prayers, hear a story from the Bible and enjoy a craft together. There's also squash and biscuits for the children, and a hot brew for the adults.

Bubble Church

Bubble Church is a free, puppet-packed, Jesus-centred, coffee-and-food-fuelled, 30 minute kids and families adventure.

Here's the deal: you turn up at Staveley CE Primary School for refreshments, then you'll
be guided to a 'bubble', and you and your little ones will share in 30 mins of song, story,
puppets, and prayer.

Bubble Church will be on the third Sunday of every month at 4.30pm, starting Sunday 21st September.

Communion in the Community

Come and join us at Staveley Village Institute for Communion in the Community. We sing hymns, hear readings from the Bible and share communion with each other.
