All Saints Underbarrow

All Saints’ is the Parish Church for the Parish of Underbarrow with Helsington in the beautiful Lyth Valley. St John’s Helsington is the Parish Centre of Worship. We meet almost every Sunday at 9.30am to worship with most of our services taking place at All Saint's. Both churches are open every day as quiet spaces to pause, reflect and pray. You are very welcome.

About Us

We are a welcoming, worshipping community of 30-40 folk living under the shadow of Scout Scar. All Saints is recently refurbished with a kitchen, toilets and a flexible space at the back so that it can be used for community events. It is wheelchair accessible. St John's is in a stunning location with glorious views across the Lyth Valley to Morecambe Bay and the Lake District Fells. It is a lovely peaceful place to pause and pray after an invigorating walk.

All Saints’ and St John’s are part of the Two Valleys Mission Community, which includes seven rural churches and St Thomas’s Church, Kendal.
