About Us

St Catherine's Church is the Parish Church of Eskdale. The Church lies beside the river Esk on a spot where there has been a church since the 6th Century AD. Services are usually held on the 1st, 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month at 11am. Please check the Services and Events page on the website for more details. We have a regular congregation of 10 - 20 but, for Baptisms,Weddings and Funerals, this may increase to over 200. Visitors are always very welcome to come and enjoy the peace and serenity of this beautiful location as well as attending our services.
