Revs Wendy and Robert Bracegirdle will take the service today as we celebrate Harvest Festival. The farms in Eskdale mainly look after the native Herdwick sheep and cattle, rather than arable farming. The Harvest Festival today celebrates and gives thanks for the hard work of the farmers and their families tending their livestock throughout the year, facing all weathers and other challenges, to provide us with food and wool.
All are very welcome to join us at the delightful St Catherine's church, near the River Esk at Boot.

Our vicar, Rev Dave Pilkington, will take the service today, the last Sunday after Trinity. Rev Dave will bring his guitar and lead some of the hymns. All are very welcome to come along to St Catherine's church by the river at Boot. We look forward to seeing you.
