Christian Aid exists to create a world where everyone can live a full life, free from poverty, to which end it has a general focus on helping poorer communities cope with the adverse effects of the climate crisis, with its unpredictable and extreme weather patterns.
This year’s Christian Aid Week appeal is again focused on helping communities, in a sustainable manner, to build up their resilience capacities to climate change and other shocks.
Envelopes will be delivered by volunteers, but not collected, with the address of a collection point in Dean, on the back. Alternatively donations can be made on-line at: St Oswald's church Dean - Christian Aid Fundraise or by scanning the QR code.
Further information can also be found here.
It will still be possible to make donations on-line after the end of Christian Aid week. All such donations will be included in the total raised by Dean.
