Following an inspection of monuments in the churchyard, the monuments detailed below have been found to be unstable and present a risk of toppling to users of the churchyard. If you are responsible for the maintenance of this monument you must, within four months, arrange for them to be made safe and brought to current standards by a certified monumental mason carried out in accordance with the Recommended Code of Working Practice of the National Association of Memorial Masons and British Standard 8415.
Please contact the church prior to any repair for further details and prior approval.
After 4 months unstable monuments may be laid flat for safety reasons. During the inspection, monuments presenting a high risk of falling and toppling have been carefully laid flat to ensure the safety of people.
