This takes place every 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month at 1:30 in the Children’s Area at the back of the Church and is aimed at babies and pre-school children. The format contains the following: prayer, song (usually with accompaniment from the children on instruments, bells or drums that we provide), bible story, arts and craft and an informal discussion with the Mums/Dads/Grandparents/ carers etc. over a well earned tea and juice break.

Each of the floral exhibits will be inspired by a different hymn and are to be created by different local groups, reflecting the vibrancy and diversity of this beautiful parish.
Tea and cakes will be served throughout the day at the parish hall and the George and Dragon pub will be serving a special menu for the occasion.
There’s also a local art exhibition, trips up the Tower for the amazing views and a Music @ St. Mary’s concert in the church on the evening of 12th July, as well as our songs of praise service on Sunday morning.
Admission is free to the Flower Festival but voluntary donations to the church are welcome. Tower trips £5 (must be over 8 years old)
Advance tickets for the concert are available from church on a Sunday or from the flower festival.
