Everyone loves a Carol Service and this year we have our Community Pop Up Choir appearing at two services (Holy Trinity and St Oswald’s) and Alport School will be joining us at St Oswald’s – so there is lots to sing about!

As the busyness of Christmas preparations fade, we gather to remember and reflect on the birth of Christ. Sometimes called Midnight Mass, this peaceful service holds a special place in the hearts of many. As the clock strikes midnight, we celebrate the first Holy Communion of Christmas together and welcome the joy, peace and light that the risen Jesus Christ brings into the world.

This is a benefice wide service and all are welcome

"And the angel said unto them, 'Fear not: for, behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy, which shall be to all people.'" (Luke 2:10)

The first of our special Christmas Eve services is at 3:00pm at Holy Trinity Bickerton and is a crib and Christingle service. Join us as we tell the nativity story and put the crib together. We then make our Christingle candles that remind us of the reason for Christmas. As we light the candles, we turn the lights down and sing one of our favourite carols.

A magical service of light and hope for all the family and the perfect way to start Christmas Eve.

All our welcome to our regular weekly Parish Communion. A children's corner is available and tea and coffee (with wonderful biscuits) is served after the service during a time of fellowship with our church family.

Our café offers free tea, coffee, biscuits, and fellowship to the community every Thursday morning between 9:00am and 12:00 noon
