St Peter's Church

St. Peter's Church in Lower Heswall is an historic sandstone building now offering a vibrant Christian worship in a variety of forms - both traditional and contemporary. Some Sunday services are led by the organ and robed choir using the Book of Common Prayer or familiar Anglican liturgies that follow the Church's seasonal calendar; other services are more informal led by a music group including activities for children, baptisms, Parade services with local uniformed organisations and creative visuals.

Safeguarding

Heswall Parish (St. Peter's Church and The Lighthouse Church) is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Chester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO ([email protected]) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor ([email protected] or on 01928 718834 - option 4). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
