For Lent, YAS Club (Youth at Astbury and Smallwood) will be running a Lent course based on 'Wicked' suitable for high school age young people (11+).

Sessions will take place at Smallwood Primary Academy, 4pm-5.15pm every Sunday in March, starting on March 1st.

As Wicked is rated PG, parental consent will be required as we will be watching short clips for discussion along side studying Bible passages.

The session themes are based on the film's soundtrack:

• 'No one mourns the wicked' - How do we judge goodness?
• 'What is this feeling?' - Fear and loathing in the Land of Oz.
• 'Dancing through life' - What is a life well lived?
• 'Popular' - The attractions and pitfalls of popularity and being liked
• 'Defying Gravity' -The joy and cost of living life authentically
