A relaxed and family friendly service for parents with young children. Based on Godly Play, the service begins with a song in the chancel before one of the children leads us through to our 'special place' for a story (told using wooden figures and simple scenery). The story is followed by a short time for prayer and then 'the feast' which comprises a biscuit and drink for the children. We then go back to the chancel for two more songs (usually noisy with instruments), after which the children have themed craft in our newly restored meeting area.
There is a chair lift available for wheelchair users.
Adults have tea, coffee and biscuits while their children engage in craft activities craft, although we encourage them to get stuck in as well.
