Harvest Festival this year was again celebrated in the big barn at Peggs Farm, with a well-attended Family Service. Quite a few people chose to walk down in the glorious October sunshine. Children brought up offerings of all kinds of foodstuffs, and on the straw-bale altar there were bags of wheat and barley, and sheaves, and hops, all surrounding a wonderful harvest loaf baked by Jean.
