A service of celebration for the wonderful gift of the Harvest was held at St.David’s on the 28th September. We joined together to give thanks for the bounteous gifts provided by God and all the hard work of the farming community who brave the heat and the wet to bring the produce to our tables everyday. The service was followed by our own bounteous supper – tables indeed bulging with fabulous food including hot meats from our good friend John Major and a whole array of pasta and salad dishes expertly prepared and provided by Audrey and Peter Howard. And to finish, we were all treated to some fantastic home made deserts, which certainly brought the fruit of the land into our presence – complete with custard and cream of course 😂
