We will have to replace our old oil boiler which heats the main part of the church with a more sustainable and efficient system in the near future and we estimate the cost could be between £30k and £40k.Download the Co-op App, become a member and choose our cause (St James Church sustainable heating project), so we can receive a share of 5m.
Our church will have about a dozen decorated trees for you to enjoy. There will be hot drinks and cakes to enjoy too.Opening timesFriday 28th November 4pm to 7pmSaturday 29th November 10am to 7pmSunday 30th November 10am to 7pm including a Christingle service at 4pm.Monday 1st December 10am to 4pm.We look forward to seeing you
The bells were blessed in a Sunday service, before being hoisted back into the tower the following week.Final fittings are underway unseen. We eagerly wait to hear the bells again. They will be heard on Sundays before our 11am service and on a Thursday evening as it is bell practice. We will also hear the bells used by the clock for its chime every quarter of an hour and on the hour.
