In keeping with the Architecture theme this year we are pleased to welcome 2 students from Manchester School of Architecture who have used St Peter's for their thesis. View their diagrams re imagining the church and scale model.
There will also be a display documenting the church's history and refreshments available.
As this follows the monthly organ concert, why not come early and do both!

The Parish Church of St Peter

Welcome to St Peter's Stockport. We are a traditional church built in 1768 in the centre of Stockport, with Sung Mass every Sunday at 10.30am open to everyone. As you sit in the Victorian wooden pews you can feel a sense of peace and quiet reflection, with the opportunity for you to light a candle to remember a loved one. Our Mass often includes the use of incense and candles unique in Stockport Anglican Places of Worship.

We also host free monthly organ concerts on the second Saturday of the month 10.30am-1pm with a variety of guest organists and pianists playing popular and classical music. Come and go as you please, coffee/tea & cake just £2.50.

Our community space is also well used by local groups including lace makers and choirs. As a Grade II listed church we take part in the Heritage Open Days Festival, and history tours are available on request, with new research ongoing.
