Accessibility

The compost toilet is accessible though getting to it up the path may not be so easy.


Our Building

Grade 2*

The East window contains stained glass images of Christ. This three light memorial window, at the east end of the chancel, is in memory of Colonel George Biddulph who died in the Indian Mutiny in the relief of Lucknow in 1857,

There is a compost toilet available for church visitors, to the North of the Tower.


Music and Worship

There is a Traditional Choral Evensong from The Book of Common Prayer at the end of August.

The organ can be played for special services.

If you are an organist and would like to play or to practice please contact the PCC Secretary.

There is a BCP Communion Service on the third Sunday of each month at 9am to which you are welcome.

On the first Sunday of the month there is a BCP Morning Prayer service at 9am. You are welcome to attend.


Groups, Courses and Activities

Bible study is not specific to this church as it is undertaken in the benefice as a whole. If you are interested please get in touch.

Anyone interested in supporting the church financially is welcome to seek advice on that and additionally, should they so wish, confidential advice on personal finance can be signposted.

The local community is encouraged to consider taking part in community projects to increase biodiversity, protect the environment avoid waste and take part in volunteering locally, including in the churchyard.

Other Features

The churchyard is being managed in sympathy with nature, which means that there will be areas that are not regularly mown to allow wild flowers to flower and set seed. Typically there are primroses in the Spring and Ox Eye daisy in the Summer. Visitors are encouraged to record and monitor the flora and fauna in the churchyard and report their findings.

St Nicholas, Frankton is registered with Eco Church and is striving towards Net Zero. Anyone interested in helping on this journey will be very welcome. Please contact the Secretary in the first instance.
