Venue
Holy Trinity Church, Ashford in the Water
Address

Join us on the Sixth Sunday of Lent for a special Sung Eucharist as we celebrate Palm Sunday. Led by Rev’d Canon Nigel Johnson, this service marks the beginning of Holy Week, inviting us to walk with Christ from his triumphal entry into Jerusalem to the shadow of the Cross. We begin our journey outdoors at the historic Sheepwash Bridge for the start of our procession, symbolizing Christ’s entry into Jerusalem.
While Lent has been a season of quiet soul-searching, Palm Sunday brings a pivotal shift as we transition from "Hosannas" to the solemnity of the Passion. Our four-part robed choir will lead us in music of exceptional power and beauty, supporting a service that includes traditional hymns, the blessing of palms, sung responses, and a thoughtful sermon.
Whether you are a regular member of our congregation or are stepping through our doors for the first time, you are most welcome to join us in Scripture, prayer, and the sharing of Holy Communion as we begin our journey through this most sacred week

Today, on Low Sunday, we join with the congregation of St Giles and the other churches in the Benefice for a joyful Communion Service led by The Reverend Carl Edwards.

The music is led by our four-part robed choir — soprano, alto, tenor, and bass — whose robes express the unity and reverence that mark our worship
