Join us at 9:30am for a warm and welcoming Candlemas Morning Worship, led by David Hardman. This gentle, traditional service follows the familiar and comforting rhythm of Anglican worship, with Bible readings, prayers, hymns, and a short, thoughtful reflection.
Candlemas marks a beautiful turning point in the church year—the moment when the light of Christ, first revealed at Christmas, is recognised and proclaimed. During the service we will celebrate this theme of light and hope, recalling the presentation of the infant Jesus in the Temple and Simeon’s joyful words: “My eyes have seen your salvation.”
Our robed choir will lead the music, offering hymns and choral pieces that create a calm, prayerful atmosphere and lift the heart. Reflective, peaceful, and quietly joyful, this Candlemas service is a lovely way to pause, reflect, and begin the day—whether you worship with us regularly or are joining us for the first time.
