A carol service with a difference! Join us on Sunday 21st December for 'The Big Christmas Singalong' - join us for a great time singing Christmas carols and a free meal to share afterwards.

St Barnabas Church and Centre

St Barnabas is a lively church in a modern church centre that serves the community Danesmoor. The building is warm, welcoming and disability-friendly, with modern facilities - do pop in at any time to say hello!

Our main weekly service is 'St Barnabas@4' - a fun, family-friendly service at 4pm each Sunday, with lively music, craft and activities, with engaging teaching from the Bible. We sit around tables, with an informal atmosphere and plenty of space for children to play, draw and have a great time. Why not try coming along?

We also have a monthly 'Testimony Night' at 6pm on the 1st Sunday of the month and an informal worship service at 6pm on the 3rd Sunday of the month.

Safeguarding

Our parish of North Wingfield: St Lawrence is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Derby’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO Jane Kinsell or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
