We'd love to welcome you to our weekly cafe held in the back room of St. Luke's Church. It's a place to make new friendships and deepen old friendships. You'll always find a very warm welcome and a fresh cuppa! The cafe is free and open to all.

St James' Church, Glossop

St James' Church Glossop is a lively church made up of people of different ages and backgrounds. We are seeking to grow deeper in our love for God, for one another and for our community. No church experience needed - whether you're 0 or 100, come along and see - you'll be welcome!

Along with St Luke's Church, we are part of Whitfield Parish which covers a central part of Glossop.  The St Luke's Church website can be found here: St Luke's Church, Glossop.

There is a Joint Parish Carol Service at St James' at 11.00am this Sunday 21st December.  There will be no service at St Luke's.

At 3.00pm on Sunday 21st December there is a Family Christingle Service at St James'.

Christmas Events

Other services during the Christmas period as follows:

Wednesday 24th December – 10am Crib Service at St Luke’s and 11pm Midnight Communion at St Luke’s
Thursday 25th December – 10.30am Christmas Day Celebration with Holy Communion at St James’
Sunday 28th December - 10.30am, informal joint Sunday Service at St Luke's, followed by a 'Bring and Share' fellowship lunch.
