St Leonard, Thorpe

The Revd Canon Dr Nicola McNally welcomes you to St Leonard in Thorpe, Derbyshire.

St Leonard is the Church of England Parish Church for Thorpe, within the Diocese of Derby and is one of the Peak Seven group of churches.

Our Grade 1 listed church which has been a place of worship and prayer since before Norman times is open for private prayer all day, every day, unless there is a funeral or wedding. All are welcome to this ancient space where people have prayed for centuries, take a slow walk round the church or simply sit for a while.

The churches of Peak Seven welcome all to worship, irrespective of age or faith commitments. There are normally at least two services every Sunday somewhere within our group of churches including a communion service at 11:15.
