The box hedges at All Saints that surround the garden of remembrance and the war memorial appear to have been attacked by ‘box blight’. It has only recently come to Derby and has ravaged many box hedges locally. If you know of any family who has someone buried in the Garden of Remembrance, would you please let them know that we are having to deal with this quite drastically. We will place notices so visitors will understand the situation. We will be taking advice as to what our options are, usually it involves removing the box completely. We also need to work out what will be the best thing to put in its place. Peter Walley.
