Lent Course

Occurring
Every Monday at for 1 hour, 30 mins
Venue
Sinfin Moor Church
Address
Arleston Lane Sinfin Moor Derby, DE24 3DH, United Kingdom

We are so excited to be exploring hearing God’s voice in our communities for Lent this year. Lectio divina is an ancient spiritual practice – a prayerful way of reading the Bible that allows for God to speak to us through scripture in powerful ways.
The Lectio Course is a 5-part series where Pete Greig, from 24-7 Prayer, will help us to explore lectio divina and incorporate it into our life of prayer.
Each session is a 15-minute video, which we’ll watch together, and then we’ll engage with the material using the course discussion guides. Each session episode is led by Pete Greig and features an interview with a special guest.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Sinfin Moor is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO).

Our Diocese of Derby’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor.

If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services."
