Accessibility

There are no steps from the car park, along the pavement and the main church path. Also, there are no steps at the entrance into the church, so the church is accessible for all.

The toilet inside church is equipped with facilities to help those who are disabled.

The church is making steps to make the church more dementia aware.

The church is fitted with a hearing loop.

There are two free car parks opposite the church. The main one is the John Flamsteed Memorial park.

There are several large print bibles and hymn books available for use.

The toilet contains baby changing facilities


Our Building

St Mary's Church, Denby is Grade I Listed.

Stained glass is used in various C19 and C20 windows in the church. The east window c.1889 is by Warrington & Co and the south east windows, dated 1942, are by Florence Camm. The east window of the north aisle is by Christopher Webb and is dated 1961. Fragments of medieval glass are included in the north gallery windows.

There is a toilet at the back of the nave inside church.


Music and Worship

The six bells are rung regularly by a small bell ringing tell. If you would like to learn bell ringing, please contact us. You will be made very welcome

The pipe organ is a Harrison & Harrison organ which was installed in 1912.
