The Rev. Hannah Raitt has been appointed as the Priest-in-Charge of the parishes of St Michael and All Angels, Hawthorn, The Church of the Ascension, Easington Colliery and St Mary the Virgin, Easington Village.Hannah with her husband, Fraser and their children have moved here from Bradford for this ministry.Hawthorn PCC welcomes Hannah to her new ministry amongst us, and invites everyone interested to attend the licensing and installation service on 24th September at 6pm, in the Ascension Church, Easington Colliery.

A funeral for Mary will be held in St Michael's, Hawthorn on 10th February, at 10.15am. If you knew Mary, you are welcome to share in celebrating her long, productive life, and to support her loving family.Private cremation to follow.
