Welcome to the parish church of Whitworth, located next to the grounds of the Whitworth Park Estate on the outskirts of Spennymoor.

Steeped in history, Whitworth Church includes a crypt beneath the floor where members of the local Shafto family were were laid to rest.

We follow the House of Bishops' safeguarding guidance and policies - this includes having our own Parish Safeguarding Officer. For more information, please see the Safeguarding tab on this website.
