A service of Holy Communion from the Book of Common Prayer, usually with hymns and a sermon.

(From May onwards, our monthly communion service will usually be on the 3rd Sunday at the later time of 9.30am.)

Riverside Early Communion usually takes place:

1st Sunday: 9am at All Saints, Girsby (Sockburn) [not in August]
2nd Sunday: 8am at All Saints, Hurworth
3rd Sunday: 9am at St John the Baptist, Low Dinsdale
4th and 5th Sunday: 8am at All Saints, Hurworth

Welcome to the Church of St John the Baptist, Low Dinsdale!

We are the Church of England parish church for the parish of Dinsdale, which is one of the smallest parishes in the country, and covers the tiny village of Low Dinsdale. We are seeking to know God’s love in Jesus Christ and to share God’s love with those around us, both within our parish and further afield.

As part of the Riverside Parishes, we are linked with the churches of St George and St Laurence, Middleton St George, All Saints, Hurworth, and All Saints, Girsby (Sockburn).
