You will find St. Paul's Church, adjacent to the Monastery site of St. Paul's, on church Bank, Jarrow, NE32 3DZ.

The church is open to visitors and pilgrims from mid-February to mid-December with Summer Opening Hours Mon-Sat 10.30-3.30 & Sundays 2-4 and Winter Opening Hours Mon-Sat 11-3 & Sundays 2-3.30

Our friendly volunteers are waiting to welcome you, can offer background and history of the Chancel, original chapel of the Anglo-Saxon Monastery established by Benedict Biscop and home to The Venerable Bede.

There is space for reflection, prayer, to light a candle or visit the gift shop. Everyone is Welcome here.
