You can visit St. Paul's church and gift shop daily. Current opening hours for British Summer Time are:
Monday to Saturday 10.30 am until 3.30 pm and again on Sunday afternoon from 2 - 4 pm.

If you are following in the footsteps of The Venerable Bede, keen to explore church architecture or returning to St. Paul's for another visit, there are quiet places to reflect, light a candle or pray. You can begin (or end) local pilgrimage route connecting St. Paul's Jarrow to Durham Cathedral: The Way of Learning. And we are adjacent to the original Jarrow Monastery site (maintained by English heritage, moments away from museum and vsitor attraction Jarrow Hall as well as the beautiful walks the River Don.

Holy Eucharist, Candles and space for reflection on Christmas Eve as we welcome the Rt. Revd Sarah Clark, Bishop of Jarrow to lead our service which begins at 11.30 pm.

Join us at St. Peter's for our first Euchrist at Christmas at an earlier time of 8 pm with Christmas Carols.

Join us as we gather together from across our churches at the beginning of our Advent Journey. Following this service there will be a home-made produce stall and any pre-ordered items can be collected.

You can visit St. Paul's over the winter months on Monday to Saturday from 11.00 am until 3.00 pm and again on Sunday afternoon from 2 -3.30 pm Up to Friday 15th December. Church and Shop will re-open gir visitors on Saturday 17th February.

We are happy to host this service on behalf of STCT. The service lasts about 40 minutes followed by refreshments in the church hall. This is a free event and everyone is welcome.
