All very welcome to join in our parish carol service on the shortest day of the year! We shall be putting a choir together for the occasion, with two (compulsory!) rehearsals: 6.30-7.30 on Fri 19 and 4-5 on the day; there will be two other rehearsals on Fri 5 and 12 Dec at 6.30-7.30 for those who can manage it. St Mary the Virgin, Fen Ditton

St Mary's Church stands close to the River Cam and is a much loved landmark for rowers, dogwalkers and others seeking refuge from the busy city.  Our parish includes the ancient village but also a good part of the urban development (built in old Ditton's fields) and all of the newest local development, Marleigh.  We have an active church community with services at 10.30am each Sunday, except the last Sunday of the month when we join with our sister churches in Teversham or Horningsea.  There are regular midweek study evenings and a coffee morning on alternate Wednesdays.
