This is our main Sunday service, with readings, prayers, a sermon and lots of music. There is a lively atmosphere, and children are very welcome. We also offer a Forest Sunday School for children if they wish to participate (with or without their parents) and we all join together for communion at the climax of the service. Refreshments are served so we can get to know one another after the service. This service is also broadcast to Radio Cherwell, our local hospital radio station, and special services can be live streamed. At key seasonal points in the year, we have a Family Service at 10am, where all the children and their families stay together for a special Holy Communion.

Safeguarding

Our Parish is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact our PSO: https://www.hthq.uk/safeguarding/ or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor: https://www.oxford.anglican.org/safeguarding. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
