Morning Prayer in the Book of Common Prayer tradition

Occuring
Monthly. Every First Sunday at for 1 hour
Venue
St Mary & All Saints. Willingham
Address
Church Street Willingham, CB24 5HS, United Kingdom

Since 1662 the Book of Common Prayer ("BCP") has been used in our church though replaced in the 21st century by more modern forms of worship. On the 1st Sunday in the month, at 11.00 am, we are offering Morning Prayer using the BCP, along with traditional hymns and a sermon. If you used to worship this way or you'd like to find out more about what it means, do come along and give it a try! We hope to be able to offer refreshments after the service most Sundays.
(Please note that there will be no formal provision for children at this service though the children's corner will be available. We encourage families to consider attending our new 4.00 pm service on the 1st Sunday in each month.)

St Mary & All Saints. Willingham

Our weekly Sunday gathering takes place at 11.00 am in the church. Most weeks in term we run a Sunday School. Our services vary in pattern but there is always one service of Holy Communion a month and often more. A more informal service of Morning Prayer also takes place each month. For a timetable of our services, please see the weekly news sheet which can be found on this site under "News and notices".

The church is part of the 5folds benefice and our services are led by various ministers (ordained and lay) who form our benefice Ministry Team.

Safeguarding

The parish of Willingham is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Ely’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
