Prayers for Peace

Occurring
Every Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday at for 7 hours, 30 mins
Venue
St Mary & All Saints. Willingham
Address
Church Street Willingham, CB24 5HS, United Kingdom

We have set aside an area in front of the altar as a focus for prayers for peace at this difficult time. Do feel free to come into the church for a time of reflection and prayer, during daylight hours, from around 9.30 am when the church opens and, of course, to offer prayers for anything you wish to, not just world peace. On a Sunday, a service is usually held at 11.00 am until 12 noon.
A reminder that, weekly, at 4.30pm on a Thursday afternoon, we gather together for a focussed time of prayer for Ukraine and peace in the world. All are welcome.

St Mary & All Saints. Willingham

Our weekly Sunday gathering takes place at 11.00 am in the church or, on the 2nd Sunday for Cafe Church, in the Octagon hall behind the church building. Holy Communion services are held on the 1st and 3rd Sundays in the month and a service of Morning Prayer in the traditional Book of Common Prayer language is held on the 4th Sunday.

The church is part of the 5folds benefice and our services are led by various ministers (ordained and lay) who form our benefice Ministry Team.

Safeguarding

The parish of Willingham is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Ely’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services."
