Sunday morning services at St Mary & All Saints, Willingham

Occuring
Every Sunday at for 1 hour
Venue
St Mary & All Saints. Willingham
Address
Church Street Willingham, CB24 5HS, United Kingdom

From 7 April 2024, we are introducing a new pattern to our worship. On the 1st Sunday at 11.00 am Morning Prayer (Book of Common Prayer) in church. Then, in the afternoon at 4.00 pm, in the Octagon Hall, a new Family@4 occasion for families. On the 2nd and 4th Sundays in the month, we will be holding either Morning Prayer or Holy Communion services (with supporting activities for children) and, on the 3rd Sunday, Cafe Church, as we gather as a church family round tables in the Octagon Hall to worship together and think about some of the issues of our time.

The church is part of the 5folds benefice and our services are led by various ministers (male and female, ordained and lay) who form our benefice Ministry Team. Our music is largely of a more contemporary nature but we do still make good use of traditional hymnody.

We aim to be an inclusive and welcoming church. There are two steps down into the church from the porch but there is also access for wheelchairs to the rear of the property via the access door to the church hall. A gentle ramp then leads into the church building.

Our weekly Sunday gathering takes place at 11.00 am in the church. Most weeks in term we run a Sunday School. Our services vary in pattern but there is always one service of Holy Communion a month and often more. A more informal service of Morning Prayer also takes place each month. For a timetable of our services, please see the weekly news sheet which can be found on this site under "News and notices".

The church is part of the 5folds benefice and our services are led by various ministers (ordained and lay) who form our benefice Ministry Team.
