A meeting of parishioners will take place on 8th February 2026 at 11.30 am in All Saints' Community Hall for the purpose of electing our Churchwardens following the death of Churchwarden Mrs Mary Bailey last year.

All residents of the parish whose names are on the civil electoral roll, together with those on the Church Electoral Roll, are warmly invited to attend and take part in this important moment in our shared life.

We are grateful to all who offer themselves for this ministry of service and leadership within our parish community.

Italian Evening. Supporters Of All Saints Event!

We are planning an Italian Evening to take place on 28 February 2026, 7:00 pm for 7:30 pm., at All Saints' Community Hall, Melbourn.
I know that is about six weeks away, but there is much planning and preparation involved and therefore we like to prepare early.

The dinner, lovingly prepared by the lesser known Italian chef Georgio Melini, will consist of:

Complimentary glass of wine or soft drink on arrival.

Antipasto, Main and Dessert courses.

Numbers limited to forty eight diners (8 tables of 6 diners) on a first come first served basis, so please do not delay applying for tickets.

Cost is £25 per person.

We will try to cater for simple dietary requirements, such as vegetarian and gluten free, but please let us know when booking.

Payment by BACS preferred as it is immediate, but cheques and cash are also accepted.

Additional wine and soft drinks can be purchased from the bar at the following prices: The bar will accept card and cash payments.

💐 All Saints’ Church in Melbourn will be opening its doors for a charming Wedding Fayre on the weekend of 18th and 19th April 2026, with all proceeds supporting the development of the church’s community space.

Local businesses offering wedding-related services—from florists and photographers to cake makers and bridal stylists—are warmly invited to showcase their work in the beautiful setting of the church.

As part of the celebration, the church hopes to feature a display of wedding dresses. If you’d be willing to loan your gown for the weekend—especially if you were married at All Saints’ (though all dresses are welcome!)—we’d love to hear from you.

travel not as tourists, but as seekers, walking prayerfully in the footsteps of those who have gone before us in faith.
This small island nation, nestled in the heart of the Mediterranean, holds within its shores the powerful memory of
St. Paul’s shipwreck, a turning point that led to the Gospel being proclaimed in Malta for the first time. His
experience—of hardship, hospitality, and divine providence—speaks deeply to all who seek God in times of
uncertainty and transition.

As we visit sites such as St. Paul’s Bay, the Grotto in Rabat, the historic cities of Valletta and Mdina, and the
tranquil island of Gozo, we are invited to reflect on the presence of God not only in sacred places, but also in the
storms, journeys, and encounters of our own lives. Malta offers a rich encounter with Christian tradition—one that
spans Roman Catholic, Orthodox, and Protestant heritage—and gives us space to pray, to listen, and to be
renewed.

Together, as Anglicans, we come to Malta in the spirit of unity, openness, and shared devotion, mindful of our
place within the wider body of Christ. May this pilgrimage be for each of us a time of spiritual refreshment, deeper
communion with God, and a renewed sense of calling in the world.

We travel not alone, but as companions on the Way - pilgrims, following the risen Christ.
