Renewal of Marriage Vows for Colin and Pat AMES during our usual Sunday morning Eucharist.
A Stations of the Cross service is a reflective journey following Jesus’ path to the crucifixion. Through a series of fourteen stations—each marking a moment from his condemnation to his burial—the congregation pauses for prayer, scripture, and contemplation. This simple, meditative liturgy invites worshippers to enter the story with stillness and empathy, drawing closer to Christ’s suffering love and the hope that flows from it.

Holy Week Communion (Book of Common Prayer)
Maundy Thursday draws us into the quiet, intimate heart of Holy Week. On this night we remember Jesus sharing a final meal with his friends and giving them a new commandment—to love one another as he has loved us. In the simple, humbling act of washing feet, he shows that love is expressed not in power but in service. Our worship echoes that moment: a chance to receive Christ’s tenderness, to offer ourselves in service, and to keep watch with him as the shadows of Good Friday begin to fall.
After the quiet solemnity of the Maundy Thursday liturgy, the church keeps watch. The Vigil invites us to linger with Jesus in the garden, to stay awake in the hush of night as he faces betrayal and loneliness. In the dim light, with scripture, silence, and prayer, we hold a space of companionship and faithfulness. This gentle vigil becomes a doorway into Good Friday: a time to rest in Christ’s presence, to listen for God in the stillness, and to offer our love as we wait with him in the shadows
