This third week of Advent, 15th to 21st December at St Marys Buckden the church is open to visitors every day, so do come in and take a look around. This week Buckden School will be visiting for their Christmas Service and their Carol Concert. It’s also the Village Carol Service this Tuesday (see below)
Services in St Mary’s this week:-
Tuesday 16th December Buckden Village Carol Service 7.30pm in St Mary’s with mulled wine & mince pies afterwards at Buckden Towers. Organised by Buckden & District Churches Together. Any donations of mince pies gratefully received, please drop off at the Towers before the service.
Wednesday 10am Midweek Morning Prayer
Sunday 21st December 11am Holy Communion
the service in our sister church, All Saints in the Offords, is Carol Joy at 10am.

About us.
Our Benefice is currently (since June 2025) in vacancy and we are looking for a new Priest-in-Charge to join us. We are a friendly village church with an active congregation. We run a variety of services and events throughout the year. Something for everyone, we hope. The church is open every day and visitors are always welcome. Our main services are on Sunday at 11am and Wednesday at 10.00am.
You are welcome to join us for tea/coffee & chat at 11am every Wednesday, Saturday Social - there's something on, with refreshments, most saturday mornings, and on the afternoon of the second Wednesday each month we host a Community Cafe with befrienders/transport group Friends in Deed. We are voucher holders and a collection point for the Foodbank. We have strong links with the local school, Buckden Primary Academy, and with Hardwick Dene Care Home.
We run various group activities including Junior Church and youth@thetowers for children/youth; Angel Voices for singers; bell-ringers; Getting Active for those who like to walk, Cleaning Crew. Our Living Stones Room is available to hire for small groups events.
