St Mary's is now weatherproof

The restoration of St Mary's is coming along well, if a little slow. Since the fire just over two years ago we have restored the tower and its roof, and completed the restoration of the remaining roofs. The thatching of the nave and chancel being completed in late December 2023. The glazing work is currently being carried out off-site but we expect the glaziers to begin restoring the plain glass windows in Late April and May 2024. We, the PCC, are now moving our focus to the interior of the church; both restoring that which was destroyed by the fire and some additional re-ordering work to enable level access for all into the church.
