Christ Church, Chalford

Christ Church welcomes all to its services and events. As part of a busy Benefice of five churches, we don't have a service every week, but celebrate Holy Communion on the first Sunday in the month and then have a more informal Morning Prayer meeting with discussion of relevant Biblical passages on the second Sunday (tea, coffee and delicious home made cakes served after this service). Some months we have more services - details are on the poster in the church porch.

Patronal Festival culminating in Choral Evensong and a meal, 6th-7th June 2026

Still at the planning stage, but Sunday's event will involve a procession bringing water from the village spring to be blessed at the font, followed by Choral Evensong and a free supper (we are very grateful to a grant from the Choral Evensong Trust). On Saturday afternoon, the church will be open, with historical exhibition and (we hope) music, and refreshments.
