Join us at St Mary the Virgin Church, Wotton-under-Edge, for a special concert celebrating 300 years of the organ.

The programme brings together some of the finest sacred and organ repertoire, including Brahms’ Geistliches Lied, Handel’s Organ Concerto “The Cuckoo and the Nightingale”, and Fauré’s Cantique de Jean Racine, culminating in Fauré’s much-loved Requiem.

Organist Jed Hughes joins the choir and soloists for this special celebration, marking three centuries of music-making on the church’s historic organ.

A non-communion service suitable for all the family

In 2026 we will celebrate the 300th birthday of our wonderful Schrider organ, once played by Handel.

Please join Nick Sherwood, Mike Hall and Eric Tyson for a varied recital, followed by tea and birthday cake.
