This will be a Holy Communion Service for the start of Lent
A Benefice Lent Course will be held on Tuesdays at 7.30pm in the church rooms at St Mary's, Newent, starting on Tuesday 24 February and finishing on Tuesday 24 March. The course will focus on the Book of Nehemiah.
Everyone is welcome to attend the services and the course.
The World Day of Prayer is an international, women-led, ecumenical movement that shares the hopes, concerns, and prayers of women from around the globe. Each year, women from a different country craft a service, sharing their unique spiritual journey and culture. Our sisters in Nigeria invite us to join them for the 2026 World Day of Prayer. The service they have prepared reflects on the theme, "I will give you rest".
