Most of our churches have worship once a week on a Sunday: 930am for Charfield and Rangeworthy, 11am for Kingswood and Wickwar. St Giles Hillesley has worship twice a month, 8am (1st Sunday) and 9:30am (3rd Sunday). All the churches come together on a fifth Sunday. This pattern can vary, however, so please check before coming. St Mary’s is open every day from 10am to 4pm. Donations to the Food Bank and Keepers in Kingswood can be left in the porch.

Safeguarding

Our parish of Kingswood: St Mary the Virgin is committed to safeguarding children, young people and adults from harm. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer (PSO). Our Diocese of Gloucester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor who advises our PSO. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the PSO ([email protected]) or the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor ([email protected]). If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police (999 for immediate risk or harm to a vulnerable person) and your local authority’s children or adult social care services.
