Our usual pattern is to have a Communion service on the First and Third Sundays of the month, and a lay-led Morning Worship service on the Second and Fourth. If there is a fifth Sunday, we will join with other churches in the benefice for a single service in one of out five churches... not necessarily St John's.

During August, our morning services will all be Communion Services for the whole Benefice, moving around the various churches, and each one will be based around one of Jesus' parables. Today's service will be based around "The Parable of the Good Samaritan" and will feature a puppet show.

This August, we will be trialling a series of experimental one-off services on Sunday afternoon or evening to see how they go down. Today's service is a traditional choral evensong at St Mary's Kingswood.

Note: our Bible Study Group will meet for the last time on April 8th (no meeting in Lent because of Lent Group). We will then go over to a Benefice-wide series of lectures on Biblical subjects.
