Ride and Stride between Bourton, Blockley and Ebrington!
We couldn't join in the national Ride and Stride day but we are able to do our own riding and striding in aid of the Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust and our own churches on Saturday October 11th.
Walkers will be led by Roger and Naomi Morris leaving St. Lawrence in Bourton on the Hill at 11:30am, stopping for lunch at Blockley at around 12:30 before an afternoon walk to Ebrington, leaving about 1pm from Blockley. Please support by walking or cycling with us all or part of the way or simply SPONSOR US!
Donations can be made through JustGiving; each church has its own page. (See news and notices for links and more information on how to do this or take part.)
If you intend to walk, let us know so we can sort out lifts at the beginning and end of the walk. (01386 853742)

St Peter & St Paul, Blockley

WELCOME!   We have a communion service every Sunday at 9:30 except for the first Sunday when the communion service is at 8:30 - this is a said service using the Book of Common Prayer (traditional language) liturgy which is followed by an all-age "Open Door" service at 9:30 with breakfast, singing, simple worship and laughter.

On the other Sundays the communion service follows the Common Worship (more up to date) liturgy with hymns led by the choir.   On the third Sunday there are Junior Church stories and activities for children during the morning service.

When there is a fifth Sunday in a month we join with other congregations in our benefice for a 9:30 communion service (See "What's on" to find out which church is hosting).
