St John the Baptist and St Lawrence

Welcome. We are a small but still active church in a rural, lively Cotswold village. We are part of a group of five churches in the centre of the Vale and Cotswold Benefice. We hold a communion service in our own church four or five times a year and also have an exciting ministry to families through our regular, more informal, outdoor Muddy Church services!

Our beautiful church is used by many families in the village for christenings, weddings and funerals, as well as the traditional services at Christmas, Easter, and Harvest Festival. We want the church to continue to be an integral part of village life.

The parish of Weston-sub-Edge w Aston-sub-Edge is committed to the safeguarding of children, young people and adults. We follow the House of Bishops guidance and policies and have our own Parish Safeguarding Officer(s), PSOs. The Diocese of Gloucester’s safeguarding pages contain vital links and information including contacts for the Diocesan Safeguarding Advisor (DSA) who advise our PSOs. If you are concerned that a child or adult has been harmed or may be at risk of harm please contact the DSA. If you have immediate concerns about the safety of someone, please contact the police and your local authority Children or Adults Services.
