Following All Hallow’s Eve on 31 October and All Saints’ Day on 1 November, All Souls’ Day is an opportunity to remember loved ones who have passed away. St. Matthews is holding an All Saints and All Souls service at 3pm on Sunday 2 November. If you would like to have someone remembered we would love to welcome you to the service. Alternatively you can give the name of the person you would like to be remembered to Heather Wheatley Smith (01285 770829) who will ensure that their name is one of those read out during the service.

The St. Matthews’s church is a beautiful, historic sanctuary with Saxon origins that is valued within its active working village of Coates. We are a caring, friendly, supportive community which seeks to live out our Christian values. We participate in a wide range of worship styles from regular BCP services, to more creative festival services including All Saints and All Souls ‘Light Service’ and Pet Services.
