Music at St. Mary’s is the title given to a new venture that had a very successful first season in 2025. Our aim is to provide a memorable venue for high quality music in our Southeast corner of Gloucestershire and the Cotswolds. Last year’s over-subscribed concert by the Carducci Quartet and Roderick Williams OBE set a high bar for the season and 2026 season will follow suit.

The concerts are a charitable fundraiser for St Mary’s church and are promoted by the PCC and Church, in collaboration with the musicians. They are advertised in the Parish Newsletter, by posters and on the website as well as regional music performance websites and networks, to ensure they are known in the surrounding area.

We will aim to invite known musicians or groups of sufficiently high quality, who will give us a decent financial return after expenses. Our income, which comes from ticket sales, will also include the sale of refreshments. In addition, the concerts will provide an opportunity to show off our beautiful church and world-renowned windows.
