Psalms

The Book of Psalms is the songbook of the Old Testament and so throughout August across our Sunday congregations we are going to be exploring some Songs of the Spirit. Rather than a set Psalm for each Sunday our services leaders and preachers will be speaking on a psalm they have prayerfully chosen. As we are in a season of the year characterised by rest, our sermons for this series will be a bit shorter and more reflective so we can give time and space in the service to hear members of the congregation share. We are going to include some testimonies about: small groups, Kingdom Kids and the most recent Alpha Course. But we’d also love some members of the churches to either tell us a little a story in the service of something God has been doing in their life and/or choose a hymn or song and tell us why it has been meaningful to them. Our more relaxed summer series, Songs of the Spirit, is a great opportunity to hear more voices in our Sunday worship giving glory to God. So if you’d like to choose a song or hymn or have a story to share get in touch with one of the service leaders or preachers. We’d love to hear from you! - Jonathan
