There will be a Special Service on Sunday 7th July at 4.00pm in the Church to celebrate the lives of Jean Bennett who donated the beautiful St Thomas of Canterbury stained glass window, and Derek Allison, the servery, followed by Prosecco and light refreshments. We would very much welcome hymn suggestions for this service – please send suggestions to Lois Webb or Donna Radley by 1st July.
In addition, we shall be celebrating the 800th Anniversary of the first recorded Parish Priest in Greatford on this St Thomas Saint’s Day.

Thank you for taking an interest in our Church dedicated to St Thomas of Canterbury, Greatford.

We usually have Two Services in our Church and you are assured of a very warm welcome from the churchwardens Donna and Lois and their deputy Nigel and the regular congregation of St Thomas!

The Second Sunday at 9am a Service of Morning Prayer led by our Authorised Lay Minister, Geoff Radley

The Fourth Sunday at 9am a Service of Holy Communion (BCP) presided at by our Parish Priest, Fr Aran Beesley

Coffee and Tea will be served after both services, please stay and introduce yourself if you are new, All are Welcome!

St Thomas of Canterbury and most other churches in our group are open daily for quiet prayer, should for any reason St Thomas be closed, please contact Lois on Telephone 07815 523080 or Fr Aran and they will try to find a way to meet your needs.

Fr Aran continues to produce a pew sheet to help our prayers throughout the week. If you know anyone who would like to receive this then let us know and we can add them to our list.
